LAILA'S JOURNAL
1927 - 2008
|
Margaret
Ghattas, Laila's
mother and a great inspiration for the model Aziza was created
by, passed away Sept. 2, at the age of 81.
A heartfelt
thank you to those who have sent condolences.
This photo was
taken last year at the age of 80 in Algonquin Park, between
chemotherapy treatments.
An article written
before her death, on Laila's experience of coping with a terminally
ill parent can be viewed
here.
Future newsletter
issues will include some personal insights into the mourning
process of losing a parent.

an artist, Gestalt therapist and Reiki practitioner. She is
an author, public speaker and the founder of Aziza Healing Adventures.
Laila combines creative self-expression with psychotherapy in
programs designed to heighten awareness, inspire personal insight
and improve the life of those who participate. She holds therapeutic
workshops in Toronto, and draws on her worldwide
outdoor adventure experience to facilitate international
healing retreats for women, couples, mixed groups and corporations.
