Aziza Healing Adventures (AHA) is based in Toronto, Canada, and was created with the intention of providing a unique method to expand and deepen self-knowledge through a holistic and practical approach to personal growth.

Aziza offers innovative wellness retreats to locations in Canada and around the world.

During these journeys our guests are encouraged to explore nature, indulge in creative self expression and develop a better awareness of themselves by applying Reiki techniques and Gestalt therapy principles.

AHA retreats are designed to foster self-discovery in a casual and fun environment. We are commited to providing itineraries that deliver a balance between program workshops, free time, social time and physical movement.

No previous art making experience is required in order to enjoy creative self-expression with materials like clay, collage, paint, and found objects. It's an amazing way to get out of your head and into your heart.

Our gentle outdoor activities are perfect for beginners and experts alike and may include gentle walks, forest hikes or sea kayaking which require only a willingness to explore a natural way of being in your body and reconnect to this beautiful planet.

Some programs include yoga, meditation,spa treatments and labyrinth walks.

Gestalt therapy principles and Reiki techniques, used to reflect on retreat activities, provide the framework for greater self-awareness.

Gestalt therapy is a psychotherapy that enables people to develop their awareness and ability to be fully present in the moment. This leads to being open to more appropriate choices previously unconsidered, with the resulting evolution towards living a more meaningful and authentic life.

Reiki, specifically the Usui System of Natural Healing, is a Japanese form of hands on healing. It is body work that promotes awareness of how and where emotions are stored in the body. Through heightened awareness and release of these old emotions, you are left with more space to incorporate healing ways and choices in your life and perspective.

The retreat locations in Canada, the US and Bali have been chosen based on natural beauty, quality of accommodations and the diversity of activities available to enable participants to enjoy their surroundings to the fullest.

Our guests participate at their own pace and leave our retreats with heightened clarity and a greater understanding of their true inner being.

We offer one-day workshops, weekend and weeklong retreats for Women, Couples Retreats, Relationship Patterns workshops for singles, families as well as couples. individual therapy and Reiki treatments are also available in Toronto, or on retreat. If you have a group or organization with a specific need, we will custom design retreats and workshops that address topics such as grief, conflict, team building, low self-esteem and other concerns.

Laila Ghattas, B.F.A.Visual Arts, B.Ed., Certificate in Gestalt Therapy, Expressive Arts Certificate, Reiki 1st & 2nd degree, is the founder of Aziza Healing Adventures and leader of the retreats and workshops.

Laila is an artist, Gestalt therapist, group facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and has worldwide outdoor adventure experience.
